Itinerary (Eastern Daylight Time)
****************
Traditional route from Madison details below.
- 8:30 am: Meet at Bob Evans in Madison if you want breakfast
there before the ride.
- 9:30 am: RIDE START from the Kroger parking lot directly behind Bob Evans
- 12:00 Noon: Lunch time (give or take a little) at:
  Stream Cliff Herb Farm

  (812) 346-5859
  http://www.streamclifffarm.com/
- Afternoon: Return to Madison for about 50 miles total
- Terrain: Easy to moderately rolling
- Amenities: There is no SAG support. Make sure your bike is in good
mechanical condition. (It's more fun if you visit your mechanic
before the ride rather than after !) Bring your spare tube,
pump, patches, etc. !
En-route we pass through very small towns, so
if you can’t cycle 25 miles to lunch (or after lunch) without some energy
intake, please plan your on-board snacks and water for that distance.
Stores exist in Dupont, Deputy, Paris Crossing and Commiskey, but may
have eccentric hours !
- Route Markings: NOT marked no Dan Henry’s, but this is an
easy route to follow with the map. (BRING THE MAP !)
There will be a number of people who have attended before and are more than
willing to help any out-of-town guests or first-timers. As a group we tend
to wait at most turns and let riders catch up if we get strung out.
If you want to blast on ahead or need to get home on time, hang on to
your map if not familiar with the route.
